The weather in Costa Rica

Costa Rica has a tropical climate year 'round, although there are many microclimates depending on the geography of a particular region

The year can be split into two seasons, identified by locals as "summer" and "winter". The dry so-called summer season is from December to April and the rainy winter season is from May to November.

Humidity is higher on the Caribbean side of the country and the mean annual temperature on the lowlands around the coast is around 81 degrees. The mean annual temperature in the populated areas of the central region is around 68 degrees and lower yet, around 50 degrees, on the high mountain peaks.

So, the choice is yours, the mountains, the coasts or the populated central region. Whichever you choose, Costa Rica is the perfect place for your perfect day. For Costa Rica wedding packages or other wedding packages in the Caribbean, contact us.
